After securing diploma in wood designing from Hyderabad based C.J. Ravel and Company, Mr. Antony arrived in Bangalore in 1977 and started his own furniture shop partnering with few friends. As a proud Owner and Proprietor of Deco Design, Mr. Antony now has numerous showrooms in Bangalore. Many nationalized banks; corporate houses and leading industrial establishments are his clients today.
Designing is a God given gift bestowed to him. He is constantly innovating and trying to create new furniture designs with greater creativity and imagination. Originally, he belongs to Kerala but now has become a resident of Bangalore. That is what Mr. V. J. Antony, Proprietor of Deco Furniture, has to humbly say about his long association and contentful life in salubrious climes of Bangalore. Though born and brought up in Kochi, Mr. Antony is by all means a Kannadiga. He expresses his humble gratitude to Bangalore and its people for his growth, prosperity and success. He along with his wife Mrs. Sheela Antony and son Rony now resides in R.P.C. Layout, Bangalore.
Mr. Antony has a very “efficient and professionally competent team performing under him”. His showrooms are full of unique and exclusively elegant designs. Mr. Antony has been associated with ‘Kerala Samajam’, ‘East Cultural Association’, ‘Kalavedi’, ‘Kerala Malayali Christian Association’ and ‘Bangalore Malayali Christian Association’.
He has future plans to import technical know-how and manufacture environment friendly furnitures within the parameters of natural designing which will be aesthetically appealing to class customers. “Be honest and sincere to oneself, success is sure to come” is the message Mr. Antony has to give to the younger generation.
